Association “Modern Vratsa” was established in March 2008 with main objectives – development of civil society, creation of conditions for realization of young people, creation of volunteer traditions in the region, participation in campaigns of local and national importance.
Over the years, Modern Vratza Association has participated in dozens of different campaigns in the region – in the sphere of volunteering, culture, youth, sport, civil society. The Association has implemented various projects of local significance, including the project “In Time – Building a Sunny Clock” under the Small Citizens Initiative Programme of the Municipal Council in Vratsa, a volunteer campaign for the creation of “The Hot Place” in Vratsa. It is a partner in a project of the Ministry of Youth and Sports for the establishment of YICC – Youth Information and Consultation Centre “Vratsa of the Youth”. Members of Association “Modern Vratsa” passed training for leadership in the Edinburgh Duke’s International Award. We are also partners in the project “Moving Borders for Volunteering”.
